A limited edition commemorating the engine’s history, leading to the 2001 RX-8 launch. Caseback engravings log notable rotary engines, ending with the R26B from the Mazda 787B Group C racecar (first Japanese, and only non-reciprocating piston car to win 24 Hours of Le Mans). Signed Mazda only, but made in collaboration with Seiko using the latter’s VH63A calibre. An ultra-cool piece that’s super relevant in today’s trend of shaped asymmetrical watches, with a bonus backstory for Mazda\/automotive fans.
