The variant here is a pretty early model from 1969 and well on its way to turning 60! With a beautiful gold-capped case, solid gold bezel, a champagne frosty\/linen dial and second generation slim faceted indices with black inlays. A very sumptuous presentation, and fitted with an aftermarket gold-toned mesh bracelet, also dripping with vintage vibes. A very evocative piece with the look and feel of “old gold” and a real time machine to the 60s. A real stunner, this one. Case has been polished in the past with some mild rounding of edges but chamfers and lines are still present and palpable. Solid gold fluted bezel remains very sharp. Dial, hands and indices are beautifully pristine. Tritium lume plots intact and respond to UV correctly for age, with the lume plots on the hands patinated to perfect match the tone of the dial. Original Omega-signed crystal has microscopic marks visible only under a loupe. Original signed crown. Aftermarket mesh bracelet with free-adjusting tuck buckle looks almost brand new.
