Originally a sub-collection of the Seamaster range, it diverged into a standalone line by 1967, offering refined pieces within the brand’s increasingly sport-oriented catalog. Over time, it even became the platform for many Omega firsts, such as their first co-axial escapement and first anti-magnetic central tourbillon. This particular example is a lovely squircle case that’s white gold-plated with a stepped bezel and “Aventurine-style” lacquer dial resembling a starry night sky. The calibre used here is automatic, Omega’s thinnest ever at 3mm. Masculine, elegant, versatile and practical. And it comes with the original box and papers! Brand new aftermarket strap and buckle, with original Omega buckle included.
