When Omega sought a clear direction for the 80s, they enlisted Genta to design this head-turning landmark integrated bracelet watch (eventually evolving into the “pre-Bond” SMP 200M and beyond). This piece was also pivotal in metallurgy innovation, with the distinctive 2mm thick 18k gold inlays, so seamlessly fused into steel, it’s downright sorcery! How Omega did this remains a secret. This example is in the sublime 32mm size (wears like a 34), ultra-thin and with a quickset hour hand (perfect for travel). A characterful sports watch that will make you stand out against the usual crowd. Original signed crown is crisp, as is the caseback and engravings. Bracelet has zero stretch. Movement is healthy and quartz-accurate.
