Unlikely duo with a singular vision
NextVintage is a passion project from 2024 by avid watch enthusiasts Denson (right) and WK (left), who met through collector circles and ended up close buddies. Together, we bring highly curated vintage and neo-vintage timepieces hunted down from around the world to clients across the globe including Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, S. Korea, Australia, Europe, UK, USA, Canada and the Middle East. Vintage watches have our hearts, and we aim to share our love for them with you.
Denson is a prominent Cartier collector with a keen eye for design. A natural-born tinkerer, serial entrepreneur and founder of MyFirstVintage, a leading vintage watch store in Johor Bahru. WK is a watch history buff, technical geek and veteran entrepreneur who came out of retirement to help build and operate the NextVintage offshoot in Kuala Lumpur.
Driven by our combined decades of finding, buying, maintaining, learning from and also selling our own ever-evolving personal collections, this is a labour of love by collectors, for collectors.
We operate on just 4 basic principles:
- Sell only what we would personally buy for ourselves or gift to loved ones. If it’s not good enough for us personally, it won't be for sale.
- Always hunt down pieces in the optimum Condition:Price ratio. Watches are already expensive little luxuries; no one should overpay for what they're really getting.
- Operate at the highest levels of rigour, scholarship and transparency usually reserved for 6-figure watches, regardless of any price tier.
- To just be the dealers we want to deal with when we're buying for our own personal collections.
