WHY WE CURATED IT: A return of one of our best sellers… a deserving crowd favourite for its beauty, elegance and affordability. But this time with a different dial that we’ve always seen but never found in a condition that we’re happy with. This one’s the large version that’s longer than it is wide, with crab claw/rear-hooded lugs, feuille hands, cabochon-ed crown and broader strap. Also, as it’s a later iteration of the Octagons, you get the bonus of a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. This dial variant that’s making a debut in our curation is a white lacquer with black Roman numerals, railroad minute track and hands. Serviced, with warranty, and with the original Longines buckle. For everyone who’s been saying they’re never quick enough to snag theirs, come and get it!
CONDITION: 8.5/10, with some hairlines and micro-nicks. Dial, hands and crown cabochon have microscopic aging but are clean to the naked eye on the wrist. Crystal is clean. Caseback has crisp engravings. Longines buckle excellent. Movement serviced with a 6-month warranty with near-spec power reserve, strong amplitude, very low beat error and accuracy within ±10 secs/day averaged from 6 timegrapher positions.
