WHY WE CURATED IT: Much has been said about this landmark Omega Constellation C-Case model line by Gerald Genta. Naturally, we too have much to say about it, so we’ve compiled our research into a deep-dive tribute in a new Articles section on this website. The variant here is a very early model from one of the first batches that’s now 60 years old and still looking this good! With a beautiful gold-capped case, solid gold bezel, a silver sunburst dial that has taken on a warm hue to match the seconds hands, first generation slim elegant indices and logo appliqués. Fitted with the beautiful original gold-plated “brick bracelet” plus an additional new leather strap of your choice. A lovely band of gold around your wrist at a fraction the cost of solid gold pieces. Simply exquisite. Serviced and warrantied.
CONDITION: 8/10 with some hairlines and micro-nicks. There are signs of past polishing but the lines and chamfers are still present with thick gold cap remaining. Pretty amazing for a 60-year-old. Caseback gold medallion still exhibits detailed micro-texture. Dial, hands and indices are clean with only the slightest signs of aging, mostly around some parts of the edges. Replaced crystal has minor marks invisible to the naked eye. Original signed crown. Original Omega bracelet is worn but usable, however we are including a new leather strap of your choice should you wish to set aside the original bracelet for safekeeping/occasional wear. Movement serviced with 6 months warranty returning good performance, with near-spec power reserve, adequate amplitude, low-to-negligible beat error and accurate to ±20 secs/day averaged from 6 timegrapher positions.
