WHY WE CURATED IT: Much has been said about this landmark Omega Constellation C-Case model line by Gerald Genta. Naturally, we too have much to say about it, so we’ve compiled our research into a deep-dive tribute in a new Articles section on this website. The variant here is a pretty early model from 1969, now almost 60 years old and looking great for the age! The case still has its lines and chamfers, with a creamy no-lume silver dial, solid white gold fluted bezel, and polished faceted indices with black inlays for legibility. This is also a somewhat uncommon variant with a magnifying cyclops lens located on the underside of the original Omega-signed crystal. Fitted with an original Omega “brick bracelet”, with an additional new leather strap of your choice. A very versatile daily timepiece that’s appropriate for all sorts of occasions, no matter the outfit. Serviced and warrantied.
CONDITION: 8.5/10 with some hairlines and micro-nicks. Case has been polished in the past with some edge rounding but the chamfers are still present. Dial is clean with minimal microscopic age spots, and patinated to a lovely creamy hue. Hands and indices are clean. Original Omega-signed crystal has small marks visible only under a loupe. Original signed crown. Original Omega bracelet is worn but usable, however we are including a new leather strap of your choice should you wish to set aside the original bracelet for safekeeping/occasional wear. Movement serviced with 6 months warranty and in stellar health, with over-spec power reserve, high amplitude, negligible beat error and accurate to ±5 secs/day averaged from 6 timegrapher positions.
