Before Speedmasters, the most notable Omegas were Constellations… Omega’s first chronometers to reach the masses and a collector favourite till today. All Constellations were chronometers and feature an engraving on the caseback with an observatory and 8 stars signifying the 8 awards Omega won prior. The is one of two Constellations in this drop, and the 3rd case variant we’ve curated with a masculine, chunky block TV tonneau shape that wears bigger than the dimensions below suggest. We love the boldness of this reference and the versatile horizontally textured silver-grey dial. This one will be loved by those with bigger wrists, or simply those who prefer bigger sportier watches. Powered by the automatic Cal. 1001 beating at a relatively modern 28,800vph… one of Omega’s first high-beat autos with hacking seconds and bi-directional quickset date. The watch is in outstanding condition and comes with its Omega integrated bracelet. You’ll be rocking a more uncommon Constellation with reassuring robustness… it’s a vibe! Serviced and warrantied.

CONDITION:
9.5/10, with minimal hairlines despite being over half a century old. Lines, chamfers, finishing transitions all present and distinct. Original Omega-signed crystal (microscopic marks visible only under magnification) and crown. Dial, hands and indices are clean. Tritium lume plots intact and respond correctly to UV for age. Bracelet in excellent condition, solid with minimal stretch. Movement serviced with a 6-month warranty and running in top form with over-spec power reserve, strong amplitude, very low beat error and accurate to ±5 secs/day averaged from 6 timegrapher positions. A truly stunning find.
