Omega De Ville Double-Signed Türler Dial Ref. 166.033 (circa late 1960s)

WHY WE CURATED IT:
The De Ville line holds a special place in Omega history. Originally a sub-collection within Seamasters, it diverged into a standalone line by 1967, offering more refinement vs the brand’s increasingly sport-oriented catalogue. Over time, it even became the platform for many Omega firsts, such as their first co-axial escapement and first anti-magnetic central tourbillon. What we have here is a slim, elegant and versatile De Ville with a domed, vertically-brushed grey dial (silver, depending on the light) in proportions that make it as much a casual daily as a dress piece. For some extra spice, it’s double-signed by Türler, a high-end European retailer, one of very few that secured the right to print their name on some Omega dials. Very unlikely you’ll ever bump into anyone wearing the same watch. Powered by the trusty automatic Cal. 565, serviced and warrantied. Yet another super versatile and dependable vintage Omega that just keeps on giving even half a century later.

CONDITION:
8.5/10, with some light hairlines. DIal and hands have small age marks and the original crystal has microscopic marks but generally exceptionally clean for the age as a package. Original Omega-signed crown and crystal. Caseback engravings intact. New aftermarket strap and buckle. Movement is serviced with a 6-month warranty, returning near-spec power reserve, high amplitude, low beat error and accurate to ±15 secs/day averaged from 6 timegrapher positions.
