Omega De Ville "Floral Silver Dial" Ref. 111.0107 (circa 1973)

WHY WE CURATED IT:
The De Ville line holds a special place in Omega’s history. Originally a sub-collection within the Seamaster range, it diverged into a standalone line by 1967, offering a refined diversification from the brand’s increasingly sport-oriented catalog. Over time, it even became the chosen platform for key technical milestones, such as Omega’s first co-axial escapement and first anti-magnetic central tourbillon. This here is one of the most ornamental De Villes with a floral texture dial paired with elegant black roman numerals in its own sector and the trusty, much-loved manual-winding Cal. 625. Thin, elegant and sculptural in profile and on the wrist. A gorgeous dress piece that’s equally suited as a daily casual in versatile steel but with just a little extra punch. Serviced and warrantied.

CONDITION:
8.5/10, with some hairlines and micro-nicks from careful wear over the last half century plus. Overall presentation remains sharp and edges remain defined. Dial has some aging patina for those who appreciate a bit of wabi-sabi vintage honesty. Crystal, hands and dial texture/printing are clean and crisp. Original Omega-signed crown. New aftermarket strap and buckle. Movement serviced with a 6-month warranty, returning to-spec power reserve, excellent amplitude, low beat error and accurate to ±5 secs/day averaged from 6 timegrapher positions.
