WHY WE CURATED IT: My first ever vintage Rolex was an OysterDate Precision; a model I still have a soft spot for today. It’s the epitome of the simple, dependable, understated Oyster that used to be the essence of the brand’s success: high quality, reliable, no-nonsense practical watches that you reward yourself with. This is the “34mm” version (actually more like 35+mm), the traditional men’s size back in the day when watches were more elegant, discreet and unobtrusive. Absolutely versatile on the wrist for any situation whether daily life or special events. Full of the vintage understated heyday Rolex feels and not the blingy showboating that the brand has become known for. These are making a massive comeback today. Comes with box and the best of 3 bracelet versions typically fitted to this reference (nicknamed the “heavy bracelet”) in stellar condition and an exceptionally strong package overall. CONDITION: 9.5/10 with hardly any signs of wear, just minimal hairlines. Truly spectacular! Original “- T Swiss Made T -” dial is pristine. Tritium lume plots intact and exceptionally clean, and respond to UV correctly for age. Original Rolex signed Twinlock crown. Bracelet is a 78350-19 with zero stretch, and correct 557 endlinks. Movement in exemplary health with over-spec power reserve, strong amplitude, negligible beat error and accurate to ±3 secs/day averaged from 6 timegrapher positions.
